Playing the Indiana lotto can be extremely exciting even if you do not end up winning the big prize. There are a variety of different games to choose from, including scratch-off, pull tab and drawing games. The most popular and most lucrative Indiana lotto game is the Hoosier lotto. It is a drawing game, and it pays out the largest jackpot of any other Indiana lotto game.

The Hoosier Lotto is easy to play. You simply pay one dollar to receive a playing board. You must choose six numbers per play, and if you match all six of the numbers drawn, you hit the jackpot. The minimum jackpot is set at one million dollars, but it can increase significantly depending on the amount of tickets that are sold and the amount of times the jackpot is rolled over if no one wins. If you get five or fewer numbers right, you can still receive a cash prize, though it is significantly less than the grand prize. Getting five out of six numbers correct will typically win about a thousand dollars, and four out of six will win about fifty dollars. You get three dollars for three numbers and a free Quick Pick for matching two of six.

You can also play Powerball Lotto in Indiana. The game involves choosing five numbers between one and fifty-five and one Power ball lotto number between one and forty-two. Matching all six numbers will win you the jackpot. You can also play a Power ball 'Power Play' option. It costs a dollar extra to play this feature, but if you win any prize other than the jackpot, the prize is multiplied by five.

You can find winning lotto numbers posted on the Hoosier Lotto website. Drawings are typically broadcast in retailer stores, as well. Depending on the particular game, drawings are done weekly or biweekly. Lotto numbers drawing times are posted in retailers stores and on the internet.

The Hoosier Lottery jackpot starts at one million dollars and the jackpot is rolled over if there is no winner. Payouts are made in 30 annual installments. For one dollar you may also play the Powerball. Indiana is one of several states that participate in the Powerball drawing. You may want to check out the Lucky 5 drawing. Just match 5 out of 5 and you may win $50,000.00. The odds for the Lucky 5 drawing are significantly better than the Powerball and Hoosier drawings. You may check for winning numbers online, on television, or in the newspapers.
