Brian Flynn has cemented his position as 6/4 betting favourite to become the next Wales permanent manager with English bookmaker Ladbrokes after being confirmed as caretaker manager.

Flynn has made no secret of his desire to claim the job on a permanent basis, and he is now one step closer. Chris Coleman is second favourite at betting odds of 7/4 with Terry Venables at odds of 6/1.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "Flynn was all the rage before the temporary appointment. With one foot in the door it looks like his job to lose."

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is favourite at betting odds of 6/4 to take over from Fabio Capello following Euro 2012 according to the bookmaker. The Italian coach confirmed just recently that he will stand down from the top job so he can focus on his retirement.
