Bookmaker Paddy Power quotes Lewis Hamilton as the 13/8 betting favourite to win this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

He will have to work hard though to beat Ferrari's Fernando Alonso who will not only have the home support of the Tifosi but, following yesterday's FIA tribunal, the knowledge that the team will have no fears of using team orders again to get the Spaniard to the front of the field.

Roberto Coladangelo, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: "The Ferrari team now know the punishment they face for team orders is compared to their annual budget, so the team will be going all out to win their home GP in front of their adoring fans."

Lewis will also have to overcome the charge from Sebastian Vettel. The German driver is building a reputation as a qualifying superstar but with the tendency to lose his head in races. He is at betting odds of 6/1 to spear Hamilton's car as he did to Button two weeks ago and is 15/2 to do it again to Jensen.

Vettel however will suit the fastest track of the year and is at odds of 13/2 to claim pole and follow it up with a race win which would get him right back into the title fight.

The McLaren team look the likeliest to dominate the top two steps of the podium at betting odds of 4/1 for a 1-2 finish and despite all of Ferrari's effort and race manipulation they are third betting favourites at 16/1.
