Premier League Betting - Liverpool's Rafa Benitez Likely to Join Real Madrid?
Another embarrassing loss for Liverpool, this time to Lille in the Europa League, has added to the pressure on coach Rafa Benitez and Paddy Power has
cut the betting odds from 10/1 to 13/2 on him being the next manager to leave his post.
The Liverpool boss is now odds on at 8/11 to no longer
be in charge of the Anfield team at the start of the 2010/11 Premier League season.
Roberto Coladangelo spokesman for the bookmaker said:
"Results have not been going Liverpool and Real Madrid’s way putting more and more pressure on the two bosses. Keep an eye on our sack race odds on
paddypower.com to see who is likely to be next for the chop."
Another manager in hot water is Real Madrid boss Manuel Pellegrini, despite the
most expensive squad ever created the Spanish club crashed out at the first knock out round of the Champions League for the 6th year in a row.
Benitez is the current betting favourite to fill the role at Real Madrid at odds of 7/4 closely followed by current Inter Milan boss, the
special one Jose Mourinho at 3/1.
