Robbie Keane's last minute move from Tottenham finally gave the transfer window a decent headline and many Celtic fans will be hoping he carries on making the news with a big impact for the club.

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has quoted odds of 6/5 for Keane to score and perform his trademark cartwheel on his debut for Celtic.

A spokesperson of the bookie said: "Following a very quiet transfer window the news that Robbie Keane is heading to Glasgow should have pleased the Celtic faithful, however he will have to produce the goods as early as possible to stay on the right side of some of footballs most demanding fans."

Paddypower also has the Republic of Ireland captain at 7/1 to make his childhood dreams come true by grabbing the winner against Glasgow Rangers in the Old Firm game at the end of the month.

Celtic are due to play Kilmarnock tonight and Keane could make his debut straightaway, if he gets on the pitch the bookmaker has him at betting odds of 5/6 to open his account in his first game.
