The only bird Tiger Woods will be tucking into this Christmas will be a juicy turkey according to an Irish bookmaker who is betting 2/5 that the troubled golfer will spend the holidays with his mother.

According to reports, Tiger's stunning wife Elin is planning to spend the holidays in her native Sweden with everybody except her husband. If those rumours are true it leaves the world Number One golfer with little choice and betting action has already begun as to where he will opt to keep the head down.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said: "It looks like Tiger is not out of the woods yet and the only bird he’ll be stuffing this Christmas will be the turkey at mom’s house!”
