Fears are growing that Simon Cowell is nearing boiling point with Britain's Got Talent star and internet phenomenon Susan Boyle.

Tensions are thought to be running high in the Scottish spinster's camp with many reports suggesting she is on the brink of throwing in the towel on the ITV show to concentrate on a career in the US.

The latest media speculation could even damage Susan's chances of winning Britian's Got Talent according to Irish bookmaker Paddy Power.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for the bookie said: "Everybody is jumping on the Boyle band wagon. It must be hard for Susan being thrust into the limelight but if she’s not careful all the media speculation could ruin her chances of winning the show and dash any hopes of performing for the Queen."

Susan had been as short as 1/3 with the bookie to win this years series and perform for the Queen at The Royal Variety Performance but has now slipped slightly in the betting to 4/11.

The odds on Susan quitting the show and heading to the US to make a fast buck are just 6/1 with the bookmaker while it is 3/1 that the West Lothian lady releases a music single before the Britain's Got Talent final.

Meanwhile, with total YouTube hits exceeding the 80 million mark, the future, at the moment, still looks bright for Susan Boyle with Paddy Power offering 4/9 she tops the UK singles chart and 7/4 she tops the US billboard chart.
